One-Act Play grabs four slots on All-Star
Cast
by the LHS Journalism Staff

Congratulations are in order for the cast and crew of Leonard High School's production of this year's UIL One Act Play competition. District 13AA UIL Competition was held Wednesday, March 28, at Princeton High School.
"A Game" begins as a farce and ends in deadly earnest. The characters present an idea which strikes the audience extremely hard and answers the question, "Why is there so much hate in the world." This realistic play produces a powerful impact and gives an insight about the extra importance attached to something just because it is MINE.
Leonard High School's production received top honors at the district competition. Each member of the cast brought home a medal. Lauren Buchanan who played Edson and Christina Jech who played Carter received All Star Cast. Jeremy Burgess who played Dr. Henning and Melissa Eastin who played Baker received Honorable Mention All Star Cast.
A very special thank you goes to Ben Kent who was the lighting technician and ran the light board throughout the play. John Kent and Cindi Kent were the One Act Play directors.
