As you may already know, any student taking the TAKS test on March 3 will be offered a school breakfast paid for by the district. As important as TAKS testing is and eating a good nutritious breakfast before the major test, it is important that students eat breakfast every day. This week we will be sending home some information about why students should eat breakfast. We will also be awarding small prizes to the students who eat breakfast in the cafeterias this week. On Friday, we will have a drawing. Winner will receive a prize for participating in our school breakfast program. Prize to be announced.
